Project consisted of a multi-story, 90,000 square foot facility accommodating over 2,300 students studying nursing, kinesiology, occupational therapy, health services and social work. The facility is comprised of lecture halls, class rooms, laboratories, a vivarium facility and offices. The HVAC systems consisted of air handlers residing on the penthouse floor with the rest of the mechanical primary equipment located in the first floor mechanical room. Secondary HVAC equipment in the facility was lab fans and other exhaust fans with their related specialized duct systems. Dee Cramer was subcontracted to perform the sheet metal scope of work and lead the 3D coordination effort involving plumbing, HVAC, electrical and fire protection trades. |
