C.S. Mott Children's Hospital

Project consisted of a eleven-story, 885,000 square foot replacement hospital and a nine-story, 192,000 square foot medical office building. The building HVAC system consisted of air handlers, located in a mid building mechanical room, providing conditioned air to a VAV w/ reheat system, with a ducted return. Exhaust systems consisted of toilet room and lab exhaust systems. Air handling units also provide conditioned air to the surgical rooms. Dee Cramer, Inc. was subcontracted to perform the sheet metal scope of work and was also the Lead Coordinator for Building Information Modeling and 3D MEP Coordination.

 
Sparrow Hospital

Project consisted of a 10-story, 368,000 square foot office building. The building HVAC system consisted of two built-up air handlers, located in a mid-building mechanical room, providing conditioned air to a VAV w/ reheat system, with ducted return. Exhaust systems consisted of toilet and isolation room exhaust. Dee Cramer was subcontracted to perform the sheet metal scope of work as well as 3D MEP CAD Coordination.

 
Kellogg Eye Center

Project consisted of an 11-Story Building. The execution of the Mechanical System was separated into two contracts; one being the Mechanical Infrastructure / Core and Shell and the other being the Building Fit-Out. Our scope of work included the Dry-Side HVAC portion of the Mechanical Infrastructure and consisted of (10) new Air Handling Units, (3) Energy Recovery Units, (3) Central Exhaust Fans, mechanical room and shaft ductwork, as well as Breeching / Stacks for the (3) Boilers. This project utilized BIM and we were the Lead Coordinator for this project. The execution of this project took approximately 20,000 man hours.

 
Hurley Medical Center  New Reinhart Emergency Trauma Center

This Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) project consisted of a single story expansion and renovation to a City owned Hospital. The project consisted of a new Pediatric Emergency Department and a new Lobby as well as Support Space. The expansion consisted of 48 Exam Rooms, 8 Triage Rooms, 4 Trauma Bays, 12 Critical Decision Unit Rooms, 1 CT Scan and 2 Radiology Rooms. The building HVAC System consisted of (2) air handling units located in the lower level mechanical room. The air distribution system is a ducted supply and return system. Variable Air Volume Boxes w/ reheat coils were utilized on the supply side. Exhaust systems consisted of general toilet, lab and isolation room exhaust incorporating HEPA filtration. Dee Cramer was subcontracted to perform the Sheetmetal/HVAC scope of work and Lead Coordinator for the Building Information Modeling and 3D MEP Coordination.
